IamMuslim Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
Your privacy is sacred to us. IamMuslim ("we", "our", or "us") is deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
TL;DR: We do not track you, we do not sell your data, and we do not host third-party advertisements. Everything happens entirely offline on your device.
We architected IamMuslim as a self-contained ecosystem. When you read the Al-Quran, use the digital Tasbih, or browse the Hijri Calendar, your data belongs strictly to you. We do not harvest analytics, nor do we require account creation or email submissions to unlock core functionalities.
Any settings, bookmarks (favorite Ayahs), and daily usages are saved completely within your device's local encrypted storage (SQLite/JSON). If you uninstall the app, the data disappears with it.
The App requests permission to access your device's geolocation. This is used strictly and exclusively for two features:
Your location is processed instantly on the fly. We do not transmit, log, or store your location data on any external servers. Your position remains strictly between you and your device.
Spiritual presence requires intense focus. IamMuslim guarantees a seamless, ad-free environment. We do not use AdMob, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party ad networks that secretly trace your activities across the internet.
While the App functions almost entirely offline, verifying official government local prayer times (such as JAKIM Malaysia or KEMENAG Indonesia) requires the App to independently fetch metadata from those official servers solely for your dashboard display. No identifiable device data is handed over to them.
If you have any questions, concerns, or divine suggestions regarding this Privacy Policy, please send us a direct email. We are fully transparent about how this app is coded.
